I’m the Founder and Clinical Director of Mindful Hive and a neurodivergent, trauma-informed therapist providing individual therapy to adults in Kentucky and Ohio. I created Mindful Hive around the belief that therapy should be a place where you can take off the mask, stop performing, and show up as your authentic self.

As a neurodivergent

I’m the Founder and Clinical Director of Mindful Hive and a neurodivergent, trauma-informed therapist providing individual therapy to adults in Kentucky and Ohio. I created Mindful Hive around the belief that therapy should be a place where you can take off the mask, stop performing, and show up as your authentic self.

As a neurodivergent therapist and a member of the LGBTQ+ community myself, I understand how meaningful it can be to have a therapist who doesn’t just affirm your identity, but understands some of the experiences that can come with navigating the world outside of the norm.

I specialize in trauma, ADHD and neurodivergence, anxiety, depression, perinatal and postpartum mental health, relationship stress and abuse, attachment wounds, identity, and self-worth. I have a particular passion for working with adults diagnosed with ADHD later in life who are beginning to understand themselves through an entirely new lens.

I also provide perinatal and postpartum therapy, supporting clients through pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, anxiety and depression, identity changes, overwhelm, relationship changes, and the emotional complexities that can come with becoming a parent.

I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) and integrate attachment-based therapy, CBT, DBT, and other trauma-informed approaches based on each person’s needs. Rather than focusing only on what is “wrong,” I help clients understand what happened, how they learned to survive and protect themselves, and what they need now.

My approach is authentic, compassionate, collaborative, and direct when needed. I provide LGBTQ+ affirming care and welcome all parts of your identity into the therapy room.

You don’t have to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. Together, we can work toward healing what happened, understanding yourself more deeply, creating healthier relationships and boundaries, and reconnecting with who you are underneath the expectations, survival strategies, and masks you’ve carried.

You don’t need to become a different person. Therapy can help you understand yourself, trust yourself, and feel safer being who you already are.

With nearly 20 years of clinical experience, I am a therapist and clinical supervisor who works with individuals, couples, and families navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, parenting challenges, grief, and major life transitions.

My approach is warm, compassionate, and down-to-earth. I want therapy to feel like a space where you can feel heard, supported, and comfortable being yourself without fear of judgment. I believe therapy should be collaborative and tailored to you rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and also incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Systems Therapy, and other evidence-based approaches based on your individual needs. For clients who would like faith to be part of the therapeutic process, I also offer Christian counseling upon request.

In addition to my work with clients, I provide clinical supervision to developing clinicians. I value creating a supportive and collaborative supervision environment where therapists can strengthen their clinical skills, build confidence, develop their professional identity, and grow into authentic and effective clinicians.

Whether you’re processing painful experiences, struggling in your relationships, navigating parenting or family challenges, grieving a loss, or simply feeling stuck, I’m here to help you better understand what you’re experiencing, recognize your strengths, and find healthier ways to move forward.

My goal is to provide a supportive, judgment-free space where you can work through what’s weighing on you, strengthen your relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change.

I believe that therapy should be a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow. My therapeutic style is rooted in a person-centered approach, emphasizing empathy, authenticity, collaboration, and the belief that everyone has the capacity for meaningful change.

I enjoy working with teens, adults, and couples, helping them navigate life's challenges, strengthen relationships, build self-confidence, and develop a deeper understanding of themselves. I recognize that everyone's experiences, needs, and goals are unique, and I strive to create a therapeutic environment where you feel comfortable showing up exactly as you are.

Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I believe in meeting you where you are and allowing you to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences at your own pace. My goal is to help you recognize your strengths, gain insight into patterns that may be holding you back, and feel more confident navigating life's transitions and challenges.
